It is my pleasure to introduce our speaker. 

Her name is Margo Corbett.  She is author of the Savvy Patient’s Toolkit.

It is her passion and her life mission to empower individuals to advocate for themselves and their loved ones in order to receive the best healthcare possible. AND, too contribute to the dialogues of true patient empowerment, patient-centered / driven healthcare, and what taking a shared responsibility and making joint decisions really mean.

She has a BS in Medical Technology, a Master’s in Storytelling, is a retired Organizational Development, Total Quality/Knowledge Management Trainer & Consultant, and is the founder of the Savvy Patient School.

She has appeared on radio stations and spoken to a variety of groups and at regional and national conferences throughout the US.

Margo lives in NC, has seven children and 10 grandchildren and is married to Lee, a retired architect. By the way he knows she is always telling stories on him.
